Taiji Quan is the embodiment of the principle of Yin and Yang.

Each movement embodies their dynamic and inseparable union: slowness (Yin) hides power (Yang), flexibility (Yin) engenders firmness (Yang), relaxation (Yin) precedes the explosion of strength (Yang).

Practising Taiji means seeking the balance between these two poles within oneself — between calm and action, stability and mobility, intention and relaxation. This fluid harmony cultivates both health and martial presence, unifying body and mind in an eternal dance between shadow and light.
